VersaWorks 3 Perf Cut. How?

You need to do two things:

• First and very importantly adjust the blade depth. Do this by taking a piece of scrap material and lying it on top a piece of hard dark coloured plastic. Remove your blade holder from the machine and adjust the amount of blade protruding from the blade holder and keeping it square against the vinyl drag it to draw a line and adjust the amount of blade protrusion until you just make a light mark on the dark plastic. (Should not cut the dark plastic)
  
  Place the blade holder back in the machine.
  
  
• Now in Versaworks go to cut controls and enable the perf cut and normal cut settings, set the normal to about 80 grams and the perf cut to about 150 grams to start. Do a test and adjust until you are happy with the results. (slow the speed down for the perf cut if you find you cant cut through)

Very important upgrade the firmware on your machine to the latest version. Please go to download, firmware and manual pages on our web site, download it and send to your machine using Versaworks.

When sending the firmware switch off the machine on the front panel.
