For industrial marking applications, the MPX-90 Desktop Impact Printer delivers precision results at a fraction of the cost of traditional systems. The MPX-90 is based on the Roland Photo Marking System (RPMS) and uses a durable diamond-tipped stylus to imprint hard surfaces including gold, silver, copper, platinum, brass, aluminum, iron, stainless steel, titanium, nickel and acrylic. This innovative system produces flawless images, graphics and fonts up to 529 dpi, quickly and easily – and without leaving any residue behind.

The MPX-90 is ideally suited for the production of serial number plates, data plates and for medical and industrial tool identification/marking. The MPX-90 can also be used for producing 2D Data Matrix barcodes for asset management which is recommended by the Electronic Industries Alliance and meets US Department of Defense requirements. Users can insert items of virtually any length with the cover open.

The MPX-90 also includes Dr. Engrave, easy-to-use engraving software that inputs various types of text and bitmap images and supports industry standard True Type fonts. Dr. Engrave allows the user to engrave very small text without any type of overlap or bleed and supports variable data printing using .CSV or .TXT files imported into a template. This feature enables automated serialization and data plate production.

The MPX-90 can be upgraded with vise fixtures that expand the range of items that can be imprinted.  Several fixtures are available and all are easy to set up.  These fixtures quickly and easily secure odd-shaped objects in place for precision results on a multitude of items.
